Why is that so exciting? Because we can imagine the children's faces when they receive this medal. It's metal and it is fantastic. Enter your child and family now!! Medals will be issued with the suits – you may choose to wear them during the run or hold them to “award” to your children on completion.
The race will be started by the Mayor of Northampton, Councillor Rufia Ashraf, who is a keen supporter of local charities. She has not yet confirmed whether he will be coming with her running shoes.
It is hoped that the warm-up, a little bit of aerobics to get the blood circulating to those muscles, will be led by none other than our local celebrity, Bernie the Saints mascot. There is a suggestion that Bernie may have an aerobics instructor on hand to help him.
