Virtual Santa Fun Run 2021

Santa Rount The Globe

Help Santa collect his presents from the capitals of Europe.

The further you walk or run the more children will get presents and the more your charity makes.

You can do as many km as you want as often as you want throughout the week and also join in the Final Mass Run at the end of the week on Sunday 12th December on the Racecourse.

We will be running an accumulator through the week so once you have signed up you can track our progress through the dedicated STRAVA group which is free to join.

Put on your costumes and get going!

We need to run or walk a total of 6,833 km and we have 9 days to get there beginning on the 4th December. Don’t worry you don’t have to do it all yourself, working together we will clock up the steps, miles and kilometres

6,833 km in 9 days

Our journey will virtually take us from Santa’s home at the North Pole across the Arctic Ocean to Stockholm, across Sweden into Norway and to Oslo. Speeding on over the Kattisgatt sea to Copenhagen in Denmark and then over the Baltic Sea to Berlin in Germany.

Our next capital city to visit is Amsterdam in the Netherlands, across the breadth of mainland Germany before a short hop to Belgium and Brussels. After a quick rest we will speed on to Paris in France.

Then it’s on to beautiful Bern in Switzerland before climbing over the Matterhorn and descending to land in romantic Rome. Our next stop is a careful landing in Vienna, Austria before heading on to Prague and a good rest.

Simply sign up below.

Grab your family, friends and walking companions. We want you to dress to impress and post pictures so that others can see how you are doing

Group of Santas

We will track our progress through a dedicated STRAVA group which you will be invited to once you have registered. Don’t panic if you don’t have STRAVA you can email your progress and pictures and we will add them to the total.

You can run, walk, stroll, wheel or hobble as many different journeys as you want during the 9 days (the more the better, obviously).

We wrap it all up around 5pm Sunday 12th December – so please send in your information (or log your trips) by then. We will be running an accumulator during the week, logging everybody’s run/walk and aiming to reach our target of just 6,833km by Sunday night. We will you posted over the week with various updates and also keep you motivated to do another run/walk if we think we are running behind our target expectations!
